Log Homes Site Terracycle Investments, and its development partner Canus, are creating a unique joint venture with a local Community Development Corporation – the Tri-Corner CDC – and a Boston based environmental consulting firm – Bluewave Environmental – to redevelop an 8-acre parcel of land contaminated from years of industrial use and log home manufacturing. The site, located on the Housatonic River, is being planned as a leading edge green design project that re-opens the river to the public and provides an attractive and healthy location for work, live and play in the bustling town of Great Barrington. The project is being planned as a "green" designated building, utilizing the latest in energy efficient technology, water conservation, and sustainable construction materials. |
